Recreation Plus Staff Bios

Kat Andrews is a graduate of the California School for the Arts in Southern California, where she received a degree in music with an emphasis in music composition and music education. She has been playing the Piano for close to 22 years, and the Cello for the last 15 years.

In addition to composing and preforming, Kat has been teaching music to all ages for the last 14 years. She has had the privilege of teaching in both the United States and Japan.

Kat is very excited to be starting this exciting musical adventure with your children! Music study has been known to develop performance abilities, coordination, self discipline, patience, math skills, and the feeling of accomplishment. On top of that it's just plain fun!!!
